Microsoft: Put "Splosion Man" and "Comic Jumper" on Steam
The Issue
Twisted Pixel was a former Microsoft subsidiary who created some of the best games on the Xbox 360, such as the Maw, 'Splosion Man, and the Gunstringer. These games are fondly remembered by many Xbox 360 players and longtime supporters of Microsoft's gaming endeavors, and have become increasingly-hard to play as support for the console has died down.
As it currently stands, only two of Twisted Pixel's games are on Steam with PC ports: the Maw and Ms. 'Splosion Man, the sequel to the first 'Splosion Man.
This leaves the first 'Splosion Man and Comic Jumper: the Adventures of Captain Smiley in a difficult situation, stranded on official Xbox One download services as emulated Xbox 360 games. They are not included in a Game Pass Ultimate subscription, and therefore not even able to be streamed on a PC.
This is why I, and many others, approach you, Microsoft, to preserve a niche-but-beloved piece of your legacy on PC, be it a PC port on Steam or GOG, or even just the ability to run the original Xbox 360 version using a Game Pass subscription.
Regardless, I believe a re-release of these games, as well as other classics developed by the studio Twisted Pixel, would be a welcome addition to current PC port offerings, an important piece of video game preservation, a valuable property brought to a new range of players, and simply an excuse for existing fans to experience these classics for a second time.
