Minecraft console edition were the 1st versions of Minecraft on consoles these versions were developed by Microsoft Mojang and 4J Studios. After about 3 years of Minecraft Xbox one edition's release on September 20 2017 Microsoft decided to stop development on the game and release a new version of Minecraft on Xbox one called bedrock edition: the difference between these versions are the newer version has cross platform with other Minecraft versions. This change soon happened to Nintendo Switch on June 21st 2018 and eventually on PS4 on December 10th 2019 and that's all good and stuff and that's not why I'm writing this petition but I am because Microsoft decided to digitally delist all these version's of Minecraft. That's totally unfair to people who wanted to try out console edition who already owned it on PC or mobile to find out they've been scammed. I don't care about the development stopping, I just want them to put it back on sale and I never got the switch version of console edition and my cousin really wants to play! and I'm tired of dusting off my Wii U to play some glide. So who's with me? Who agrees they should relist the console edition but not update it! But also I think people should get the old console edition for free if they own bedrock edition on they're console and on the Nintendo eshop/PlayStation store/Microsoft Store with a disclaimer saying the version is console edition and is no longer receiving updates or bug fixes and does not have cross platform and having a link to the bedrock version of the game saying something like: If your looking for the version of minecraft on your console with recent updates and cross platform click here! I personally think this is a great idea and I think you should support this petition.
