FM Radio should not be regulated by carriers. When it is disabled, carriers charge data for internet radio streaming. Internet Radio is not reliable because it doesn't cover all channels, it can unavailable in regional emergencies due to cell tower disturbances, and it is a delayed signal. Consumers should not be forced to pay internet data for FM radio when the inherit ability to directly listen to FM Radio is on the SoC.  Consumers who used this feature in WP7 may find it hard to upgrade to WP8 without this feature.
