Bring Realms to Minecraft on PS4

Bring Realms to Minecraft on PS4
The Issue
When Bedrock came to Minecraft on PS4, many players were excited to finally join in on Cross-Platform play, and eventually we got there, sort of. Unfortunately, the game is still missing one big feature it has on other platforms, the ability to start and join small servers hosted by Mojang, called realms.
Currently, there is no way to join a server on PS4. In order to play with another player, regardless of platform, if your on PS4, users must join a host's world, which is only open while that host is online and in-game. This greatly empacts the multiplayer experience for PS4 users, as players can't get on and work on a project unless the host is online. For many players, this is disappointing, as part of the draw of Minecraft is to be able to play cooperatively and build grand structures. Unfortunately, many people who might want to play together can have different schedules which don't always line up. This have been made worse during the Coronavirus pandemic as many people are unable to see each other and have wanted to spend time together virtually. It could be a kid and his friends who have only been able to see each other, an essential worker who has been away from their family or even a group of adult freinds who work different schedules and can only hang out during the weekend. All of these people could benefit from realms on PS4. I'm not sure what the issue is, it could be any number of things, but getting realms on PS4 would be of benefit to both the player base and the developers.
