Better Skype support for Linux

Right now Linux users are being left in the dark as to what is going to happen with Skype for Linux.

They stopped updating the desktop client many years ago and now it is starting to suffer as the rest of the Skype ecosystem continues to evolve but this remains untouched.  A few of the issues that I have personally noticed are: the lack of ability to make group video calls, people appearing offline when they're actually online (according to Skype on my Android phone), and calling just plain not working at all.

Microsoft are currently working on a web version but there are no details about when, or if that will ever support Linux.

Microsoft needs to get their act together and either upgrade the client, or get the web version up to scratch with all of the features that the desktop client should be able to do.  If we can get enough signatures then maybe Microsoft will realise that this is actually an issue, and do something about it.
