Rare and Microsoft have teamed up to re-release a compilation of games onto the Xbox One called the Rare Replay.  This pack includes multiple titles that are important to the history of video games, including Perfect Dark, Battle Toads, and Banjo-Kazooie.

It is of course good to see that these games are both getting updated graphics and being released onto a more modern system.  Unfortunately; releasing this pack onto just a console places limits on the conservation of these games.  It is a well known fact that consoles in general have a limited life span, and that there is no guarantee that the next-gen console will support backwards compatibility for this title.

In addition, it should also be pointed out that Microsoft currently has a strong hold on PC gaming through the current dominance of the Windows OS.  It behooves them then to, at the very least, port the Rare Replay onto PC as well.

Every signature on this petition is a testament to the idea that these games are classics, and therefore effort should be taken to preserve and spread them onto PC.
