For some baffling reasons, Microsoft does not allow Xbox players to add servers to play in Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Now I'm sure all the Java players are looking at me and laughing but to them I say this doesn't concern you. I own a Discord server and so I decided to make a Minecraft world for it and I have Bedrock edition on my Xbox, laptop and phone. I went to Server.pro and bought the 10$ monthly plan so that all my friends and members can have this world to hang out in. But for reasons that are outright mental, Microsoft does not allow you to join servers that aren't Mineville City, Mineplex, Lifeboat Network, Cubecraft Games or The Hive. I did some research and it's likely due to the threat of personal information theft or the fact Microsoft wouldn't be able to make money off of it. As is to be expected from a "AAA" game company. I was able to do it on my computer, which is owned by Microsoft. I can also add servers on my phone, which is even more susceptible to personal information leaks than an Xbox One. Further proving that this is either apathy or greed fueling the issue. How hard would it really be to take some of the income from the literal best-selling game ever made, selling over 176 billion dollars in copies, and just doing something nice purely for the consumer's benefit that would cost Microsoft and Mojang nothing? They're already not making money from it so what could possibly be lost by just adding the option in on the Xbox One? If you want to make that option cost money (further proving how Bill Gates is the only one at Microsoft who actually has human decency, God bless his AIDS-destroying soul) then fine by me. Mojang already let micro-transactions be added to a priced game, not like there's much left credibility left to lose. Just add the option in. And for Notch's sake don't make it some kind of subscription service or I'll have to type another one of these petitions out. Either add the ability to add servers on Xbox or dig straight down with a full set of diamond armor in your inventory. Good day sirs/ma'ams
