Dallas City Councilman Micky Garus has been making anti-islamic statements on his Facebook page he uses in the capacity of a Dallas City Councilman. Oregonians and residents of Dallas, Oregon should send a strong message to Dallas City Councilor Garus that bigotry, intolerance, racism, and discrimination of any form is not welcome in Oregon and send a strong message to other elected officials across the state that such views are not welcome in Oregon, especially from our elected officials who represent us all. Finally, we call on the Dallas City Council to issue a official statement admonishing Councilman Garus's remarks and views.
