My condo pool is not opening because their attorney recommended they could be liable if someone caught Covid-19 there. I'm sure all businesses, especially those that are small like hairdressers, massage spas, grocery stores, etc. are also concerned about being sued.

I would like the State of Michigan to provide legislation to prevent these frivolous law suits that could wipe out these businesses and organizations. As long as there is no negligence and state and county requirements are followed, they should be free from this worry. Since the virus is spread through the air and on surfaces, they have little control except to keep surfaces disinfected and social distancing.
