On February 8th 2022 SB43 passed the Senate Floor.  This bill is a hard slap to the face of victims, victims families and our community.  This law allows for violent criminal offenders including murders to be eligible for parol after only serving 15 years of their life sentence. The sentence seen fiit by a judge and jury. 

Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, we are asking that DO NOT SIGN this bill! We have been promised a tuff on crime legislation, and have received nothing but rejected or tabled crime bills. Our community is in danger and we need change now. Criminals are getting sympathy while victims are being left to feel repeatedly cheated of the justice they deserve.  

Please sign this petition and let our Governor know that you do not support crime. Let her know that we deserve to feel safe in our community.  Let her know that she should not support this bill.
