On the 6th of October 2021, Michel Moortgat mentioned during an interview with Emma Moortgat, his daughter, he would bring back Duvel Green if 50.000 people back the idea. 

Duvel Green was created in the 1960s as a result of the Gentse Feesten, where there was a demand for a lighter beer. The alcohol percentage is lower: 7%. This variant was sold in 25-centilitre bottles.

At the end of 2020, Duvel decided to stop producing and selling Duvel Green. The question immediately arose as to whether there was any possibility to keep it. This question has never been answered, until now.
