In 1904 a stone was painted at Hunters Quay, Dunoon, Scotland, depicting a stereotypical "minstrel show" face and named " The Jim Crow Stone". It is now 2020 and there is absolutely no reason this should still be standing, it is racist and disgusting. In light of current events, i am calling for the stone to be removed and destroyed and for Dunoon to come into the 21st century. The reason behind this petition is obvious, the stone is blatantly racist and offensive and should have been removed long ago.

As the rest of the world looks forward to a future where people of all minority creeds and colour can exist on their own merit, this rock stands as a stain on our national efforts to defeat prejudice, and so long as it exists, will forever keep us anchored to a vile and racist past.
