Another person is injured while walking in our neighborhood.  Many years ago we were told we were getting sidewalks installed down Amy and Stephanie.  It is time before another person gets hurt.  With the school in walking distance and many students walking daily it is a necessity.  Our law enforcement can only do so much with speeding and cell phone usage, it is time we had a way for members of our community to commute safely. Many of us have sat on our porches watching speeding cars fly by and say "it's only a matter of time". Last year a 10 year old was hit coming home from school, without major injury. On August 18th it hit too close to home for us when a pedestrian was hit in our yard. We need a solution now. Who will be next? It is only a matter of time before a child will be fatally injured. We need sidewalks for all of Amy drive, Stephanie Drive and speed humps throughout the neighborhood.
