The COVID-19 outbreak has affected a plethora of aspects in everyone’s day-to-day life. One thing that has taken a hard toll is learning. Learning is meant to be a person to person experience, but this cannot be done during these trying times.
The lack of in-person teaching has diminished the ability for students to properly understand new subjects within the curriculum whether it be Math, English or Science. The lack of understanding of subject matter will obviously lead to lower GPAs across the board. Lower GPAs can affect a student’s chances of getting into their dream college. This is why we are imploring that the grading of the 4th marking period be changed to pass/fail grading instead of traditional grading. Please help turn this into a reality by signing this petition. This will not only help you but hundreds of other students who’s futures depend on it.
