This is a petition to get us starving, east-coast MGMT fans a chance to celebrate and enjoy MGMT's incredible live presence and talent before the next year dawns upon us.

MGMT last visited New York City for a show, at Radio City Music Hall on August 17th and 18th of 2010, which blissfully tickled the souls of many east coast fans. MGMT are at the height of their fame, with much more talent and creativity sure to bubble to the surface with their already anticipated third album. There is no more perfect time than now for MGMT to play a show near or in New York City. With the craziness of Oracular Spectacular subsided and the realization of Congratulation's greatness concluded, MGMT fans within easy reach of New York City are ready to show their appreciation, gratitude, and love.

West Coast fans in California are being treated with multiple MGMT concerts in the month of August. 2011 is going by fast, with many MGMT fans struggling to grasp the remnants of those majestic shows they played almost a year ago. It's time that East Coast fans get a chance to enjoy the sound of quirky-psychedelic-rock-pop- circa-the-60's-90's that is MGMT.
