Ariel Rosenberg, professionally known as Ariel Pink is an artist, producer, and songwriter with a large discography spanning the last 20+ years.

This January, Ariel’s label, Mexican summer, dropped him off the roster stating via Instagram they will “not be working” with Ariel in the future. While this is completely the label’s choice, they still hold 10 records licensed by Pink and all streaming royalties.

This decision was unilaterally implemented by the label without discussion or notification whatsoever to Pink himself. Now he is left unable to distribute or sell his work via other means. This puts Ariel in a tough place financially during COVID-19 where touring and other ways of making money are not a feasible option.

This petition is a means to return to Ariel what is rightfully his, regardless of political ideologies, etc. We request that Ariel Pink’s records be returned to his ownership from Mexican Summer.
