Schools need to invest more time, education and resources into anti-bullying programs. Children need to start being educated at the elementary school age and continue education and resources through high school. Not enough is currently being done. School counselors need to be more involved and children need to know they can anonymously contact a school official if they are being bullied or know someone who is. This is in light of another young teen committing suicide due to being bullied. Schools need to be held accountable to follow through on the anti-bullying programs that the district puts into place and the district needs to develop a much better anti-bullying program immediately.
