The RMAF is responsible to maintain the serviceability of its aircraft fleet at the highest possible level in order to maintain operational readiness. Therefore the major consideration is to ensure that the resources available are being used in the best possible way. One of the resources available now is DPA. DPA has been established to supplement the effort in maintaining the aircraft serviceability but sadly since its activation in July 2020, the RMAF, specifically PANGBAN has been very slow in taking advantage of this facility. This raise a question whether the RMAF is serious in the DPA or just want to rely on the MROs (ATSC, AIROD,DESTINI, ZETRO).  Until now we the DPA holders have quoted 1000+ line items but very few PO has been issued and as a result our vendors are reluctant to response. To make matters worse, we have been asked to re-quote on the same items and this could lead to breach in confidentiality of the information.  We have spent a lot of effort and money in securing the DPA contract and we want to give the best service to the RMAF. We hope the RMAF will respect and appreciate our effort so that we can give the RMAF our full support.
