On June 5, 2020, Tony Marcuzzo drove his car into a crowd of peaceful protesters in Memphis, TN. Currently, there is at least one person in the hospital as a result of this crime, in addition to a few others who have been injured. One former classmate has stated that Marcuzzo was openly racist in the past, so it seems naïve to think that this crime was not racially motivated. Marcuzzo has been arrested, but in order to secure justice for the protesters that he has seriously injured, he needs to be charged with an attempt for murder.

The definition of terrorism, per Oxford Dictionaries, is “the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.” Marcuzzo’s crime matches the definition, so if you want this terrorist to be charged and to be punished for his crime, sign and share this petition.
