TOO MANY OF OUR YOUTH ARE HANDED OUT UNFAIR AND UNORTHDOX SENTENCES, THEY ARE RECIEVING THE SAME SENTENCE THAT OF ONE WITH BACKGROUNDS AND PAST CONVICTIONS. AND JUST BECAUSE MOST OF THEM SAME YOUTH ARE FROM LOW INCOME FAMILIES DONT MEAN THEY DESERVE TO BE THROWN BEHIND THEM WALLS AND FORGOT ABOUT,THEY DO HAVE FAMILIES WHO LOVE AND CARE FOR THEM. THEM SAME FAMILIES WHO WOULD DO WHATEVER THEY COULD FOR THEM . PRETTY MUCH GETS THE LEAST AMOUNT OF LEGAL HELP THATS AVAIABLE FOR THEM, ARE YOUTH IS THE FUTURE THEY DESERVE TO BE TREATED FAIR ..OUR YOUTH DEPEND ON US TO STAND BEHIND THEM THE BEST WE CAN AS WE WILL DEPEND ON OUR YOUTH FOR THE FUTURE THAT DEPENDS ON OUR YOUTH..HELP STOP THESE LANDISH SENTENCING THAT GET HANDED OUT SO FREELY..."STOP UNFAIR SENTENCING BECAUSE OF RACIAL PROFILING".. BOTTOM LINE'..

In Illnois where im from we hear alot in the media how the prison’s are over packed, and/or how much it cost to house and feed them inmates. And most inmates do have families that love them and take care of them, which are the same people who are tax payers the same tax payers that help house and feed all them inmates. And then we hear in the media how we do have laws and bills that have been signed to help stop from just that happening, so now we have our government making new and more laws, bills to be passed, and keep from our same government from miss using their authority when handing out unfair and unorthdox sentencing that they hand out so freely. Wouldn’t it be easier to address this issues right at the source then to wait till it cost even more tax payers money to help fix this same issues'. I'm thankful for those like Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey and Senator Richard J.Durbin and many others who supports and are behind the Second Look Act and the enactment of the Fair Sentencing bills referred to the Senate Judiciary ,Committee .

My only child my son his name is Roderick at the young age just made 18 years old now has to fight for his freedom from behind the walls serving a life sentence without parole..

As a mother one of the hardest moments ever to have to go through and not have any say so over what my son life and what he was going to have to go through as a young man, what he was facing was so mind blowing and as a mother you always know that one of your most important and greatest responsibilities and accomplishments is to protect your children. And to think for a moment that your child felt like they had to go to such great measure’s to protect himself, just barely at the adult age never been in trouble not even as a juvenile in fact he not only went but graduated from a very prestige Military Preparatory Academy with a letter of recommendation concluding that he would be a good asset to our country and recognition in many areas in the course of time he spent while he shows no threat to anyone at any time. Now has to fight from inside them walls and that’s a very difficult fight right there but with your help and others, maybe we can keep this from happening to those families that don’t know there’s a pathway through their tunnel.
