Hello everyone. It has certainly been a trying two days for me, I am sure it has been the same for you. I am estatic to announce that we have reached 350, or now 382, supporters. I want to assure you this, every signature matters, a lot. To give you a real estimate of how many signatures we have, JROTC has just over 400 Cadets. Thats the biggest program in the Highschool, and we have almost as many supporters as they have Cadets. Now, The other major thing is that I made a small change to the ending signature. The signature now reads 'Members of the 2015 Leavenworth Highschool Graduating Class, Their friends, family, and Members of the Community of Leavenworth.' Now I had been wanting to do this for a while. Every time I said 'When we hit x signatures, I will change it.' But I never did. Well, today I was threatened with a lawsuit for defamation. She said that she had spoken to her attorney, but I don't see any basis. Defamation must be false, and your reasons prove that it is NOT false. I didn't do it for this person. This was the same person that said that all of you ruined graduation and that the school had no obligation to make it fair and that I needed to grow up. At the end of the day, the new signature is a better representation of the people who have signed this petition. We are community Members, Family Members and Friends. Not just graduates.
