I want to keep Soshun as a non-limited card as he does not have a win condition, and the current proposed changes require other players to play around him. I propose that instead of changing so much about the card, we make it so that his blackening is not announced to the class, and only the player themselves is notified that they are the blackened, and a free getaway. This would not only make the problem of him being a free PM hint a non issue, because a PM Soshun could lie about being blackened, but also make it so his life would be in danger the entire game, as every blackened might want a piece of him as it could lead to a free trial win. The current proposed changes make it so that blackened trades are not allowed while he sits unblackened, which means that PM has to blacken him chapter one in order to have a chance at a despair win during the first chapter, as the players haven't drawn enough items to have something good to kill with without a despair trade. This means that if he himself is the PM, his blackened have no way to despair trade no matter what, and if he isn't blackened night one, he is AUTO SUS as a pm. In the end, I believe the current changes would make the card an auto lose of a single class trial, as well as a limited slot that will almost always lose unless the other players pick cards that are specifically designed for protection and suppression.
