The Laramie City Council is currently considering the termination of an agreement with the owner of the Bolton/Landmark Square parking lot, a decision that goes against the wishes of their constituents. This parking lot has been a public benefit for years, providing necessary and convenient parking for residents and visitors alike. Despite clear opposition from an overwhelming majority of residents who wish to continue this parking benefit, the council is moving forward with its plan. This action not only disregards public opinion but also threatens to disrupt daily life in our city by reducing available parking spaces. We believe that such decisions should reflect the needs and wants of those they affect most - us, the citizens of Laramie. It's time for our voices to be heard on this matter.
