Here is why it is important:

Roads and Maritime Services is proposing to remove established trees from the centre median between Taren Point Rd and Willarong Road Caringbah.  See Leader article -http://www.theleader.com.au/story/3450732/kingsway-trees-to-be-cut-down-so-motorists-can-see/?cs=4175

The removal of the trees would be an enormous loss to our community. They provide both beauty and aesthetic appeal, softening and enhancing the urban environment as well as providing habitat for birds and insects. 

As the work is imminent we need our community to speak up and act now to save these trees from unnecessary destruction.
