Stop Burger King from taking Meg's girl and Chill's pitch! SUPPORT LOCAL

The Issue

Meg's Grill and Chill has been trading on the wickes Warterton site for two years, but the first the owner heard about the plan was from a customer.

A single mum who started up a mobile catering business to support her family faces being booted off the car park where she operates to make way for a fast food chain.

And the mum-of-three said the first she found about it was when a customer told her, having heard nothing from the local authority or the business behind the application.

But despite paying ground rent and being registered with Bridgend Council, she said it was thanks to one of her customers that she first heard last week she might be forced to move on after Burger King submitted an application to the authority to open a new branch and drive-through on the site she has been successfully trading from.
