Last week’s RTA (Reservoir Trailer Park Association) Meeting on September 1st at 6:30 PM was invaded by Mr. Haden, a trash truck and an entourage of five or more men arrived on announced and uninvited to our RTA meeting in what appeared to be attempt to intimidate the members of the RTA. Mr. Haden and his entourage were treated cordially and Mr. Haden was given an opportunity to speak. This intimidation worked very well, the word got out and all of the residents of the Reservoir Trailer Park but one family stayed away from that meeting. Mr. Haden at this meeting stated to the one resident and his family that did stay “I will buy the trailer park in 30 days and I will be your landlord” We have written to the ACLU of Maryland to report these incident’s. Witnesses of this civil rights violation consist of supporters of the RTA that live in the surrounding neighborhood outside of the trailer park, of at least twelve people. Mr. Haden, when asked wye he did not respond to the RTA letter on 8-8-16 about their concerns, Mr. Haden replied “This is my response”. We feel this inappropriate response on the part of Mr. Haden of J and J trash removal of our concerns places us in a position which we have little choice but to take necessary steps to protect our residents. Our resident consists of young children, elderly, veteran’s and women of child barring years. Many of our residents have health issues that will be aggravated from just the smell of the trash trucks. At that meeting when Mr. Haden was asked tough questions about the smell, the unknown contents of garbage, the unsanitary conditions of garbage, the problems of animals coming in to the trailer park attracted to the smell of trash, the environmental and health effects that very likely would occur should a trash removal company move on to this location. Mr. Haden did not give any real answers to any of these questions. Mr. Haren did take time out during these questions to give nick names to some of the supporters that were there in opposition a trash company moving on to that location. Some of the nick name were Smiley and Smarty. This was a sad day for everyone.
