COME OUT AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT! ! ! ! One week from today the RTA will meet. The RTA (Reservoir Trailer Park Association) meets the first Thursday of each month. Next meeting will be September 1st 6:30 PM at the Beaver Run Fish and Game club at the lower pavilion. Bring your lawn chair and favorite beverage. We have the entire club at our disposal, free of charge. We can move to the spacious upper club house if the weather is bad. Thank you Beaver Run club for your continued support. 2631 Old Kays Mill rd. Finksburg MD. Off Rt 91 take Hughes rd. go 1 mile. Can’t miss it. The RTA has ordered yard signs to be distributed to supporters a crossed Carroll County. Hopefully the first order of signs will arrive in time for the meeting so we can get the ball rolling quickly. (signs will look just like the billboards only smaller, there is 100 in the first order with wire metal hardware to stick up quickly). WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Any one that has lived at the Reservoir Trailer park in the last three years. (Please contacted any one that has moved and ask them to attend the meeting PLEASE) Any one that has wild life management experience. (Park rangers, DNR police, animal behavior expert’s). Please ask them to attend the meeting, if they can or get there contacted info. We are about to start the letter writing campaign. You will be provided with the names, addresses and emails of our public officials. You will be supplied with samples letters, to help get your point a crossed. These letters are very important; they inform officials of the rapidly growing opposition. The RTA also will have a lot more flyers at this meeting. We ran out of flyers very quickly at the last meeting. I think there will be ample this Time. Check in for updates. Thanks for every one support. Today’s photo is one of my son in law holding a young racoon. It hard to believe this is cute little guy could grow up to be a disease carrying animal. But not long after or very far away from where this photo was taken, there was a report in the paper of a rabid raccoon chasing a child. The raccoon had to be shot. Large population of animal spread disease very quickly. Animals are attracted to the smell of trash. This should not be hard to figure out folks.
