There is NO minimum distant requirement in the county to keep a trash hauling co from moving in right next to: Your home, school, church, daycare, playground, etc. As Paul Harvey used to say. Now for the rest of the story. Haden is quoted as saying (some of the neighbors are in opposition) FACT- 99% of not just the neighbors, are opposed but most of Carroll County (read what people are saying). Haden is quoted as saying that the billboard is part of a "guerrilla tactic smear campaign" FACT the billboards are nothing more than information and direction to get more info if you wish. FACT; Haden and/or his friend Terri have called or visited every business owner that displays our billboards and have tried to get the owners to take the billboards down. (These business owners are just supplying info for their neighbors and customers) They are not the problem and neither are the billboards. Haden is quoted as saying he is not going to run over babies or shoot oil into the reservoir. FACT; We sure do appreciate that, Thank you. Haden is quoted as saying "They're going to have really good guys that are going to be really good neighbors" FACT; Really good guys that want to be really good neighbors don't more a trash Hauling co next to: family's with kids, Elderly, and certainly not on our veterans. Really good guys don't move their trash hauling co into any places where they are not welcome regardless of the lack of county regulation. Business owners concerned about their reputation should have a moral compose to guide them, above that which the law would require. America is a great county, lets work to keep it that way.
