The attached petition concerns all medical students at MU Plovdiv. The aim is to acquire a campus license for the "Amboss" medical learning platform. Many students, including myself, are already using “Amboss” as a reliable and detailed study resource for our medical studies, BUT, right now we are paying for it!

After gathering enough signatures and having an idea of how many students would be interested in using this online platform, I am going to write a proposal letter to the Vice Rector and the head of the library (apparently, those are the people in charge) to address the request.

Having half of the courses online (in preclinics almost all of them as far as I know) and people travelling back and forth between Bulgaria and their home countries makes it extremely difficult to organize our literature and study materials. Acquiring a Microsoft Office license for all students of MU Plovdiv was a first big step in the right direction towards adapting to online education, so I am not too pessimistic about passing this request to the university’s administration. However, even if the university denies our request, after speaking to people in charge of Amboss, they would still be willing to give us a group discount, if there is a larger interest in using their platform.

That means, it is of upmost importance to sign the petition.
