A dedicated and hardworking RN, was denied her medical and religious exemption by her previous employer. (Sound familiar) This experience has exposed the harsh reality that many Ohioans face when their right to refuse certain medical procedures, treatment, injection, vaccine, prophylactic, pharmaceutical, or medical device on grounds of health or faith is not respected. No law, rule, regulation, person, employer, entity, or healthcare provider shall require, mandate, or coerce any person to receive the aforementioned, nor shall they be discriminated against. 

In Ohio alone, countless individuals are forced into difficult situations due to lack of legal protection for their rights. The need for a Medical Right to Refuse Initiative is evident in our state, where people's personal beliefs and health conditions are often overlooked.

This initiative would protect individuals from being penalized for making choices about their own bodies based on deeply held beliefs or medical conditions. It would provide a safeguard against discrimination and ensure that everyone has the freedom to make decisions about their own health without fear of retribution.

The time has come for us as Ohioans to stand up for our rights and demand change. We call upon YOU to help collect signatures to get the Medical Right to Refuse Initiative on the ballot, ensuring Ohioians have Medical Freedom.
