Call for Action MECO review on double charges on June Billing

Call for Action MECO review on double charges on June Billing
The Issue
1) There was no actual reading done during the cutoff period due to COVID-19 quarantine, there is no basis why MECO assumes that my usage is doubled, I am basically solo staying at the main house.
2) As a consumer, I am aware of my electric usage which shows in my billing history. The maximum i reached and seldom it happened was a P3,000+ bill in a month because i had guests who stayed for 2 weeks. But during this Community quarantine period , I am basically alone in the house and I kept my electric usage much lesser. If i add up the electric consumption of my 2 renters, we only average P1,800/month and it never reached a 3,000+ consumption.
3) Majority of the home owners in our subdivision were also surprised with our June Billing Statement. Some tried to call the customer service of MECO but nobody is answering.
4) To give an example and these were also during the lockdown periods:
April 24 - P1,221.86 and May 16 - P1,079.09;
5) I have no arrears, in fact i have a credit of P733.40 for May. I paid in advance of P10,000 before the June bill arrived which left a total credit fund of P10,733.40 in my account. Came June billing , MECO charged me P3,553.67.
5) This is totally unacceptable knowing that you never came for the meter reading. Please review and put an honest and fast action. Know that everyone is affected financially you should add this burden to your customers.
