I have been playing Marvel Contest of Champions for almost 8 years, competed in more in person tournaments for the game than anyone else and have been making YouTube content on the game every single day. In all my time playing this game never has there been a more toxic & unfair defender than Serpent. Some people will tell you he isn't that bad to fight these people don't play the game at the highest level and understand the impact he has on the entire game. For multiple battlegrounds seasons in a row he has been essentially an auto win if you  draft him and place him on D I would put good money he has the highest defensive win rate in the game I would also wager he is the most banned champion in the game as well. 

The rebalance program was put in place by Kabam so they could monitor and be free to make any changes on brand new champions within a 6 month period of their release. This program was put in place to prevent another champion like Hercules entering the ecosystem of the game because champions of that caliber start to ruin the game and we've already seen this with kabam building new content around hercules like Necropolis, and crucible, and of course revive farming being nerfed as a result. Serpent and Hercules are 2 sides of the same cosmic coin one side offensive and the other defensive. 

With all that said Kabam has decided to not touch Serpent at all in any way!? WHAT? His defender strength according to his spotlight is a 5/5 but I disagree he is a 6/5 no other champ in the game is as bad as him on D the only champ that maybe came close was bullseye but he has 2-3x more counters and WAS CHANGED BY THE REBALANCE PROGRAM!!! To make him easier to fight and reduce BS damage you can now freely dex his basic combos without taking damage. 

I Lagacy am starting a community wide petition in an attempt to make kabam take another look at serpent and rebalance him properly like THEY SHOULD for the good of the community and the game. If we the community feel strongly enough on something Kabam has no choice but to listen they make the game but without us to play it and spend it will fall apart. Can we get 10,000 Signatures?
