The Islamic community of the Illawarra would like to see a Halal certified McDonalds. As many may or may not be aware there is a large and growing Islamic population in the Illawarra and many of the community members drive all the way to Western Sydney to eat McDonalds. We would like McDonalds to introduce a Halal Certified McDonalds in the Illawarra, particularly the Warrawong branch as many Muslims are located in this area and it is central from the Northern & Southern suburbs.
