In 2006, McDonalds decided to change many of our lives for the better by introducing “snack wraps” to their menu. These wraps consisted of 100% white meat chicken breast (crispy or grilled), lettuce, shredded cheddar jack cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and a sauce of your choice (ranch, honey mustard or salsa roja), all wrapped together in flour tortilla. Since August 2020 they have sadly discontinued the snack wrap and the world hasn’t been the same.

Personally, I am not a big fast food eater. Occasionally, I’ll order a chicken sandwich but my go-to was always the McDonalds snack wraps (the crispy ranch wrap specifically). There were talks of discontinuing the snack wrap since June 24th, but the announcement for the demise of the food item was not glorified enough. Due to this, I unfortunately did not know about the discontinuing and didn’t have a chance to get my final snack wrap. I can’t explain the sadness I feel, and I would do anything to taste a McDonalds snack wrap again. 

I know I am not alone with these feelings so I need all of my snack wrap lovers to unite and fight for our tastebuds. Let’s bring the snack wraps back so that 2021 can be a better year for all of us!
