McDonald's has always used latex balloons for decoration or to give away to children to help Happy Meal sales. This is a life-threatening problem for some including myself. I am deathly allergic to latex. Some people may not know this but the powder that is invisible to the naked eye on balloons is where the latex is. This makes the allergy airborne.  Whether inside or outside I cannot be around them. While some may say that people like me could just avoid McDonald's, this is not always the case. If we are in a mall with a McDonalds no matter where we go in that mall we are still at a very high risk of anaphylaxis. Also, since McDonald's gives children a balloon to take with them it creates a problem throughout communities. We should be able to enjoy going out without the fear of a life-threatening reaction.
