Make McDonalds Australia provide drinking water for free

Make McDonalds Australia provide drinking water for free
The issue
3 in every 5 Australian adults are obese. With one of the largest fast food chain company offering soft drinks as part of a meal, it is no wonder why their actions are adding to the Australian weight count.
The Heart Foundation, Cancer Council, and Diabetes Australia have come together to pursuade Australians to Rethink Sugary Drinks and choose water instead.
Paying extra at Maccas for a change from soft drinks to bottled water is off-putting, especially when you're trying to make healthy changes in your diet. How about the times when you're so thirsty but you have to purchase a drink at Maccas because water doesn't come free? You end up purchasing a soft drink because it is cheaper than bottled water.
What can Catriona Noble do to help Australians make the healthier choice? There should be no extra costs when customers want to change their soft drinks to bottled water when ordering a meal. McDonald's Australia should also provide water from the tap to customers when they request it, even to non-paying customers.
Some outlets actually do already provide free water, but many others still do not. Make it known to all your franchises that giving free water is fine!
Maccas, make it a point to decrease the Australian weight count. If you helped add the weight, you can help lose it as well.
