We, the citizens of the Greater Vancouver Lower Mainland, petition against large companies such as McDonald's and Subway to use antibiotic free ingredients in their foods. 

The excessive usage of antibiotics in livestock have promoted and aggravated the established issue of antibiotic resistance. Consumers who eat antibiotic fed foods can run the risk of acquiring antibiotic resistant bacteria. This alarming resistance can continue to spread and make antibiotics complete useless when we need it the most to save lives.

I demand that McDonald's and Subway understand the full extent of the global issue of antibiotic resistance and the consequences of unchanged behaviour.
