Ever since the lockdown started last March, 2020, Greenwoods Executive Village Home Owners Association (GEVHAI) officers has refused entry for all outsiders of the village including fruit, meat and vegetable couriers, Grab cabs, Lazada/Shopee couriers, food delivery riders, health care workers, and banned entry of other essential goods.

Instead of encouraging residents to stay home and just shop online or have food and grocery items delivered straight to their homes, this has caused both residents and delivery riders and couriers numerous problems including:

1. Unnecessary exposure to other people by having couriers wait for extended periods outside whilst waiting for the homeowners to claim their items.

2. Added stress and pressure to both home owners and couriers by pressuring home owners to walk for 2 kilometers to claim the package and inhumane stress to the couriers who have to wait for hours under hot weather or strong rains for the owners to arrive.

3. Health risks, safety and security risks and/or exposure for senior citizens, PWDs, babies/children, and regular home owners to the virus and other viruses by making them walk, bike or drive to the gate or making their caregivers leave them unattended for an hour.

4. Inhumane additional expenses to home owners by charging them P50 for each item that will be picked up by village riders from the village gate to their homes when everyone is already losing jobs and money during the pandemic, and when it should not cost anything as the shipping charge for the packages are already paid. Plus the couriers should have been allowed to deliver the packages themselves.

Eight months later, and the unreasonable policy still continues! Please don't let this practice reach one year or more!

Hear the pleas of the Greenwoods Executive Village residents!

Stop any forms of corruption and exploitation of people, especially the weak, the old and the jobless/low-income individuals during the pandemic!

Extend help instead of milking GEV home owners and residents of their every last peso during a global pandemic when spending is critical!

Don't let residents pay double for each small item they order! Stop this monkey buisness of not letting couriers inside but letting "additionally paid" riders deliver to the residents for double the charge and without their permission! 

Honorable Mayors Vico Sotto, Kit Nieto, and Joric Gacula, Barangay Chairmen Mamerta Ferrer and Maricar Vivero, we the exploited and fed-up residents of Greenwoods Executive Village are asking you to please order Greenwoods Executive Village Home Owners Association Officials/ officers to start letting all the couriers and Grab drivers back inside, effective immediately! 

Corruption of any forms should never be tolerated!
