Here's some great news for a Friday! Yesterday I met with councillor Pauline Young and Mayor Tom Tate (pictured) on Burleigh Heads beach to roll out the first Mobi-Mat and Mobi-Chair to be trialled as of this summer! This is an incredible start and the GCCC are saying they want to roll the matting out on all of their popular beaches if the trial goes well. So make sure you visit the Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park SLSC this summer and make use of it!! The team over at Accessible Beaches Australia still need your help! With community support, they can make your beach accessible too!
