We need a huge improvement in our ignored communities! We need our roads fixed! We need our alleys cleaned out! We need our community to be safe! We see improvements in other communities such as Eado, Second Ward, Heights, etc. but our community, Denver Harbor/Port Houston and Fifth Ward never receive the same treatment. We ask that the city of Houston fix our major roads by repaving, restriping, and/or lighting them up! We ask that Houston Police patrol our streets more often to prevent criminals from breaking into our new and small businesses! We ask the city to clean up their part of the “yard” by cleaning out their/our alleys! We need our drainage ditches dug out! We need these things done ASAP! We ask all the time but we are always ignored! These communities are full of elderly people who have been here for most of their lives but never seen GOOD change! Crime rates have went up in our communities but we never get HPD or Pct 6 to patrol our area to prevent these violent crimes! COME ON, HOUSTON! Be the beautiful city you’ve always been! Be helpful! Be kind! Be someone! You need to help out ALL communities, ALL sides of Houston, ALL OF US! We ask the city of Houston to come out to these 2 communities, Denver Harbor and Fifth Ward, and help us restore the communities! We can’t do it alone! #RestoreDH #ImproveFifthWard
