In the time of Corona virus, we need more space to be outside and safely distance from one another. Closing Carytown to cars would allow people a fun place to be outside and give everyone more space to get around. Additionally, restaurants in Carytown could use more room to have outside seating once Phase I goes into practice. The street could be used to set up outside patios. Stores could have open air sales. Carytown could be set up to look more like the downtown mall in Charlottesville.
