Outdoor shinny is gone!? 

Indoor hockey has been taken away from kids and now they can’t even take their sticks to the local outdoor rink over the winter.  
What is the logic behind this decision? How is leisure skating okay, but holding a stick on that same ice is banned? 

Why not have people wear masks on the ice? Limit the times when shinny is allowed, and limit the number allowed on the ice, but don’t take it away all together.  There are many young hockey players who have been waiting for the outdoor rinks to open because they haven’t been able to play any kind of game since March!  LET THE KIDS PLAY!

Hockey parents unite! Let’s let the city and the province know that this has gone too far! What is the data behind this decision? Please explain the additional risk to our kids by playing shinny vs leisure skating.  We demand that shinny is brought back in some fashion for all the hockey players in Toronto.
