Mayor Romero & Council: Honor Jacob Couch with a Lasting Memorial Downtown Tucson
To the Honorable Mayor and City Council of Tucson,

As residents of this beautiful city, we are heartbroken over the tragic and senseless loss of Jacob Couch,  a man whose life was stolen too soon in our community by violence. Jacob and his wife were visiting Tucson as tourists, hoping to explore and enjoy what we have to offer. Instead, their journey ended in unimaginable tragedy.

Jacob was the victim of a violent and unprovoked attack that left him on life support. He fought bravely, but the injuries were too severe. His passing has deeply shaken not only his family, but all of us here in Tucson who believe our city should be a safe and welcoming place for everyone. We are calling on you to act and reassure for The Future that people will be safe downtown.

We are calling on you  🙌our city leaders 🙌 to take a meaningful step by placing a permanent memorial for Jacob Couch in downtown Tucson. This memorial would not only honor Jacob’s memory, but serve as a powerful and lasting reminder of the urgent need to address violence in our streets.

We believe this memorial can become a symbol of peace, unity, and our shared commitment to making Tucson safer for all. It is time we show the world that we stand against violence , not just with words, but with visible action.

Please, hear our plea. Support this petition and help us make sure that Jacob Couch and family is never forgotten.

Respectfully,
