The figures engraved in the mountain represent divisive oppressive figures of the confederacy that fought for slavery.  Atlanta being the cradle of Civil Rights and over 2 million African Americans in the metro area, these figures do not represent the city, stood against civil rights and with the mountain being such a prominent land mark in the city, no one should have to look up and see these figures of division. There should be an engraving that stands for love and represents the diversity and the inclusivity of the city.
