In 2020, Sebring decided that they would double the rates for Water. This was due to negligence caused by the Village from 2015 and having an investigation completed finding high levels of Lead in the water. 

Unfortunately, the water rates in Sebring are four times more than those of neighboring towns. The Village’s property values and school district are a reflection of a village that has an average median household income of $40,000. 

The Village’s poor leadership has caused an economic impact that adversely affects its’ residents. 

The residents need to have realistic water rates that reflect the median income household and property values. Furthermore, the residents of Sebring deserve to have leadership that supports its’ community and residents. 

Support this petition to lower rates to the 2019 rates prior to the drastic and unnecessary increase.
