This is important because we the students at John Dewey High School are a family. The teachers and staff at this school are people that we can trust and go to when we need help. Everyone is there to help no matter the situation. The mayor cant see that we are improving, he can only see that we are not up to "standards". We are not statistics, we are students and we deserve to be treated as such.The students of Dewey are working up to standards, and achieving such a goal does not happen over night, the numbers are progressing like they should, and they will continue to grow in due time. We the teachers and students will never be defeated!
