Shut down San Diego for the 4th of July weekend.

As a service industry we are short staffed and overworked already. Not closing our local beach economy is irresponsible in light of the spike in covid 19 cases. Every county surrounding us along with the state of Arizona has shut down completely. While we all would like to believe people would be responsible with these restrictions, we know through recent history, that they won't be. The people from these regions will instead flock to an area where those restrictions don't exist.

Please close down the entertainment businesses for the holiday weekend. Its going to break our people that are already working extremely hard for the local community. Its not worth the risk to our hard workers and the community, which will suffer from the potential over crowding due to the massive influx of tourists. Many bar and restaurant owners support this idea. Some will want to take advantage of the business potential. But those individuals aren't taking into consideration their employees health or well being. Again, please make that decision for them.
