Immediately reinstate Police Chief Celia Dixon and Deputy Police Chief Anthony Crenshaw

Immediately reinstate Police Chief Celia Dixon and Deputy Police Chief Anthony Crenshaw

The Issue

Chief Dixon and Deputy Chief Crenshaw were placed on paid leave on July 21, 2014, by the Mayor, and then the City Council voted on July 22, 2014, in a special meeting to hire an attorney from the firm of Boardman Carr in Chelsea to "investigate" issues related to the chief, deputy chief, and "department operations."  This is clearly a personal vendetta by certain people to remove two individuals who have served the city and the police department ethically, responsibly, and effectively.  Chief Dixon and Deputy Chief Crenshaw need our support to show the Mayor and City Council that Wetumpka citizens are behind the chief and deputy chief.
