Petition to
Mayor Holly H. Daines and

Why this petition matters

Theft, corruption, and predatory management. These common themes tie hundreds of student tenant stories together of their experiences living in under the thumb of Nelson Partners Student Housing (NPSH). This petition is to unify once and for all to clear these crooks out of our town.

Reviews of NPSH properties the 800 Block, Alpine Flats, and Apple Tree Cove are clear in noting the repeated mistreatment of student tenants. Tenants write across hundreds of one-star reviews that they "wish they could give zero stars", including statements like "the owners are just scamming people" and many claiming they've been charged months of rent long after completing the terms of their housing contracts. Even The New York Times, Salt Lake Tribune, USU Statesman, and Deseret News have taken note of NPSH's misdeeds both locally and across the nation. The faults of NPSH are well documented and yet they continue to maintain their grasp on the wallets of unwitting students.

Logan City must answer for why this company is still allowed to build here despite corrupt business practices and must prevent future abuses by establishing tenant protection policies. USU must answer for their consistent endorsement of Patrick Nelson and NPSH and institute student tenant protection and education measures. NPSH must answer to the hundreds of students they've harmed by their corruption.

Add your name and story to the cause and we'll take this issue to the Logan City Council directly to make our voices heard.

UNION STRONG, FOREVER.
