We the undersigned demand removal of Mr. John Hallick as chairman of the Middleton Airport Commission. Mr. Hallick has stated in publicly available communications that he seeks to bring commercial service to Middleton Municipal Airport. This is not only unnecessary and impractical given the proximity of the Dane County Regional Airport, but also Mr Hallick seeks to deprive the local community and middle class aviation enthusiasts of the airport's recreational value in the process. The fact that he enjoys just such recreational facilities at his own multi-million dollar *private* airpark near Black Earth seems at best hypocritical and elitist, and at worst possibly malfeasant.

This, combined with his extremely unprofessional conduct in the course of his presiding over public meetings of the Middleton Airport Commission clearly point to the necessity of his removal. We call on Mayor Gurdip Brar and the city government to address this situation as soon as possible.
